From the headmaster...
Welcome. Thank you for taking time to learn more about Westover Academy.
Westover Academy is a PreK-12 school that offers a distinctively classical and Christian education. A classical and Christian education is an education for future leaders. It's an education for those who desire to have the ability to perceive, think about, and mold the world around them according to the standards of God's word.
In a culture of confusion, and disintegrating school standards, I think you will discover Westover to be a place of excellence and high standards where truth, goodness, and beauty are pursued in everything.
Of course, a website can only convey so much. Please consider attending an open house or arranging for a personal tour. I look forward to meeting you.
For the next generation of leaders,
Kenton D. Spratt
Headmaster

If you're not convinced of the unique educational opportunity at Westover please take a look at CBN's segment on Classical and Christian Education. The segment highlights Logos School and New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, ID. Both of these schools share the same educational philosophy as Westover (We are all members of the Association of Classical & Christian Schools).
Note: This is a large download (20Mb), but it is worth the wait.If you don't have a fast enough connection or don't want to wait for the download, please contact the school and we will be happy to supply a copy for you.

"I believe that every serious Christian needs to be classically grounded, not only to understand the history of our own civilization, but also to contend for truth in the marketplace. So I hope that you will check for a classical Christian school in your area -- as a place for your kids and as a cause to support." Chuck Colson, BreakPoint Commentary on Education, November 8, 2005
