Application Procedure for New Families
- Learn all you can about Westover Academy and its classical and Christian educational philosophy. Children whose parents understand what we're all about will do the best.
- Honestly assess you and your child(ren). Is Westover a good fit for you? Can you cheerfully support the school's policies?
- Fill out an Application for Admissions Form. Also fill out one Student Information Form for each student. Attach the Student Information Form(s) to the Application for Admissions Form.
- Submit the forms with the application fee to Westover Academy (Mail or drop off in person). Our mailing address is: 661 Highway 395 South, Colville, WA 99114
- Westover will contact you to make an appointment for an interview.
- Attend the interview. Typically you will meet with the headmaster and the teacher(s) for your student(s)testing. We would like to meet both parents and the child(ren) to be enrolled. This is an opportunity to get to know one another better.
- You will receive an official written reply shortly following the interview. If your application is not accepted for any reason your registration fee will be refunded in full.
- Successful applicants will be sent a Fee Agreement Form detailing their financial arrangement with Westover Academy. This needs to be signed and returned with a check dated September 1, 2009 for the first month tuition. The initial book fee is due July 1st, 2009. A student is not officially enrolled at Westover Academy until we receive this.
- Sometime during July or early August you should go get your uniforms. Please go early as uniforms are not always in stock, and the store needs time to put the logos on your sweaters.
- Attend the Westover orientation on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009.
- Classes start September 1st, 2009.
